Cove started because my Mac was full. Family videos, a client’s campaign, a project an agent was writing: all of them wanted a home, and every workaround made my workflow slower, and my output limited.
I wanted one kind of thing. Your own drive. Living in the cloud. Showing up on my Mac in one click, as if it had always been part of the machine. The other tools felt external: limited, throttled, slow, and forever asking to be remounted.
